RUMI | Seb-i-Arus The Sufi Night of Union with Henzo and Friends

December 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

“When you see my corpse is being carried,
don’t cry for my leaving.
I’m not leaving, I’m arriving at eternal love.” – Rumi
Jalal Al-Din Rumi, the 13th century Sufi Master, Scholar and Poet of Love, asked his companions and students that upon his passing they should not mourn his death, but they should celebrate his union with his beloved (the Divine) instead, an evening known as Seb-i-Arus (Wedding Night).
For the memory of this great master, on the 17th of December (Seb-i-Arus night), we will gather for a night of devotion, remembrance and celebration.
The night will be candle lit, spent between sharing the philosophy, poetry, music, and dhikhr of Rumi.
“When for the last time you close your mouth,
your words and soul will belong to the world of no place, no time.”
